Talk about a year. I had a great one, especially the last part of 08. I remember thinking in the beginning of the year...oh no not another bad one since I got really sick the beginning of the year. Now after some great opportunities at work, I am finally ready to move ahead and to stop looking behind. 2008 brought me in contact with some wonderful people who are now wonderful friends who I will miss horribly with my move. I have the ability to take care of myself financially after some hard learned lessons, and I am taking huge chances with my move to Charlotte. I don't think it has quite sunk in yet what I am about to do, and I am ok with that. Someone asked me if I felt like I am home, and the funny thing is I do. It could be the people that I have met, or just this enviorement all I know is that I feel at peace here, and I feel comfortable with myself and who I am...which is a very freeing feeling. I will keep this site better updated with my move and how I am doing so everyone can keep in touch. My love to all my friends in Chicago.

I am getting excited. Just a few weeks until I move to NC. I have a lot of great things happening, I have my apartment, and have furniture to go in it. I can't wait. My own place, I have finally gotten to a point I can get my own stuff. :-) YIPPEE
