I wanted to voice some thought on this for a while now. When faced with a catastophre we see the true nature of the human spirit, good, bad and divine. I watched people give money and their homes to strangers and I have seen people who are stealing and taking advatage of them. Those that are evil seem to be given more press, however the good need to be recognized too. I find it sick to say that the "United States" has strong will to overcome this disaster, becuase you know we need help and we are getting it. Countries like Sri Lanka, donating what they can Cuba ignoring international situations and offering help even making the statement you don't kick an enemy while they are down. The huge scope of this is not just the nation you are from, it is the Human Spirit. New Orleans will come back and so will all the other towns that have been so horribly affected by this storm, not because of the money but because of the people who loved their home. I will end by saying, this may not be the most eliquent post but understand that right now Humanity is stepping up to help everyone not a country not a nation but Humanity the spirit to help others is huge politics should be dropped lines should be crossed it may be sad to say that it takes a tragedy like this but for right now much of the world is united together in one goal, shouldn't we be happy for a little while we are on the same side.

Okay maybe I did not explain myself properly in the first post or maybe it is being misinterrupeted. I am not saying that we should not hold those responsible for the slow response. What I am saying is that we should first concentrate on solving the problems, finding people, clean up and providing help to those who need it. Once those things are being taken care of...let the blame game role.

It's not about politics, it's about incompetent leadership. If we don't complain now, exactly when do we complain? The CRITICISM from BOTH parties (bipartisan criticism is NOT political) is what got him into gear (FINALLY). It's not politics. He is being criticized from BOTH sides of the aisle and that criticism is what made him FINALLY move into action.

First of all I don't give a SHIT about who side is complaining you have completely missed the point of my post, get off your ass and help instead of whining. You did not have the balls to leave you name or email so you must be part of the low life scum who is sitting on your ass and doing nothing. Is this a flame sure, however if you choose to disclose your identity I will remove this post and allow your comment to stand as posted, I have no problems with people who disagree with my point of view what I have a problem with is people who don't have the balls to stand up for theirs.
