Hey. It's fellow FFAF'er Luka from Incogblogo infamy. Yesterday the hubby and I made lots of yummy food - even homemade cookies. Today I have to go back to work. But tonight we're going to play poker at a friends place - or rather - we're supposed to. Woot woot! :) It's Texas Holdem poker too - which is WAYYY fun! :)

Us Brits don't celebrate Thanksgiving, maybe I ask a stupid question, but why does the whole of America stop for thanksgiving?

Personally, I think the holidays are a big hype over nothin'. We get a day off work, but that's about it!
I guess when you get to be an "adult" the novelty wears off.
We need to invent some "Adult Only" holidays. Like, take the day off work, stay home, watch movies (cable will provide all the free movies you could possibly watch) and make love all day. Woopeee! That's MY idea of a holiday!

Hello Scorpio! This is a nice site you got going, keep up the good work! I'm so sleepy that I can't think of anything to post so... I won't take more of your time.
There is no good reason for me to be awake at 5:22 am on the Friday after Thanksgiving. The way I see it, there's still at least two hours of sleep time in there until I have to be up to get ready for work. Okay - maybe just an hour and a half ;)
I think that maybe this is karmic payback for vowing that I'd never be up and at the stores this early on Black Friday. Somewhere, someone is pointing and laughing at me!
ugh. I've spent the last few days (since I made my Christmas Cake) snacking on the leftover fruit and nuts. And while this may be a generally healthy snack... you know what too much fruit and nuts does to you *clutches stomach* ugh! This is probably the main reason why I didn't out out for dinner tonight, despite being asked out for pasta for one of the girl's birthdays... too much dashing off :(
Anyway, I'm supposed to be cleaning my room so I can put my Christmas tree up... it's just not happening! I mean, I want the tree up, but I keep getting fed up with it and wandering off...
meh.
Oh well. Only 3.5 hrs of FFA left at my blog. Please get over if you can!
