Happy Mothers Day
To all mothers Happy Mothers day. This poem is also on my poetry page, however I just felt it fit the day, and so I will take it out of its hiding spot. If you like this one more can be found under the poetry link on the top right corner of the page.
Perfect Answers
A child of five will ask her mother
Why is the sky blue?
A mother gently answers
Because God made it that way
A child of nine will ask her mother
Why do I look the way I do?
A mother gently answers
Becuase God chose that special look for you
A child of eleven will ask her mother
How did I arrive here?
A mother gently answers
Because I asked God kindly for you
A teenager of eighteen will ask her mother
Why do you treat me the way you do?
A mother gently answers
That's the way God taught me to treat you
A young mother of twenty-five will ask her mother
My child asks me so many questions what do I do?
A mother gently answers
Answer them the way I used to answer you

That was a very special poem, I liked it very much. I think kids forget the things they asked when young, I wished I had had this poem back then to answer them in this way.
