Poetry
Okay blog explosion visitors I know spending 30 seconds sometimes seems like an eternity but I thought I would try to ask the blogging world for some help. I have a couple of poems on my poetry link that I would like some comments on, be honest like or hate it is ok with me. I am looking for these opinions to see if it would be worth trying to sell the copywrights to them. I really want to find an company who can do something with them especially the one titled Perfect Answers. If anyone can help let me know. I have always wrote things for enjoyment and still will but I thought I would give a shot to see if I could really make any money doing it. Thank you in advance.

At your request, I read Perfect Answers. What do you think that poem says to an individual who doesn't believe in God? (I'm not trying to rile you here - I'm interested).

i just read ur poetry its awesome, thoughtful and definitely shows an introspective personality [if that's what you have]. a little constructive criticism? the line 'life's
experiences with no one to cling too' should be spelled to cling to.
you're a beautiful mind and there are lots of us that dont see illnesses in those we meet and those we love. easier said than done my love, but be patient. you will meet him.

In response to the first comment, I actually have never thought of it until now, and I wonder what would someone would think, I wrote this poem when I was going through a profound change in my life. I guess I would be interested to hear their take on the thoughts I express on the poem, not in an attempt to sway then to believe but to understand them more.

Hey Mel,
I love your stuff... learned something new about you. You also need to let the rest of the world know you can belt a song out to and actually hold a tune! I know... I heard you. *smooches*

It's really not worth your time or energy to copyright poetry when you aren't a big name poet. Technically, once you write it, it's already copyrighted. Poetry is hardly ever "stolen," but it does happen on very rare occasions.
